Inside Crochet

Issue 167 The clocks have gone forward and as we head further into spring, we feel the urge to fling open the windows and get outdoors for bright and breezy walks. Our beautiful new issue 167 is a celebration of fresh air, inspired by the ancient Japanese calendar of 𝘬𝘺𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘬𝘪 or 'micro seasons'. We're opening the window to a new micro season and with wisps of wind and blue skies in mind, this collection of ethereal designs captures the essence of early spring. From the delicate structures of lace and filet crochet to the airy textures of mohair, this issue celebrates light, sheer and lofty garments, accessories and homeware, with pretty detailing in the form of gentle ruffles, tassels and fringing. Our new regular masterclass focusing on crochet stitches with Claire Montgomerie and Scheepjes reveals everything you need to know to master linen stitch, and includes a lovely striped beret pattern to flex your new skills. Our regular columnist Emma Varnam shares how art influences her crochet; we talk mindful making with designer and life coach Cecilia Losada and explore fashion-led crochet with Rose Svane.

Lovely patterns! Reviewed 20 December 2020

Inside Crochet

This magazine surpasses any other crochet magazine I have seen in recent years. Beautiful and challenging patterns, in-depth detailed instruction. Reviewed 11 December 2020

Inside Crochet

I really like the creative, edgier garments. Great use of colors and textures. Lots of patterns for grown ups. Reviewed 23 November 2020

Inside Crochet

I love the patterns and advice, I have only subsribed for the last few months and found at least 2 patterns i have made or intend to make in the mags. In the latest 129 that I bought in hardback before i went digital i thought the patterns were a little old fashioned as are those in 130. Overall I appreciate it is a matter of taste so much so that I have bought a year on line subscription Reviewed 25 October 2020
