Our goal for this issue is to seek out the poetry in architecture, look for people who are pushing boundaries, challenging expectations and pushing for perfection in the field of what can be often considered as utilitarian and working to serve its purpose.
We’re looking at the language of architecture, and how this has grown, changed and developed over many years. How have we got from the wonders of the ancient world to steel and glass monoliths that dominate our skylines. How have our global lives affected our needs in terms of function and style? Who is making waves in the industry? Who has invented a language of their own?
We are lucky to be living in such exciting times; in this issue of After Nyne Magazine, we celebrate this.
