Ethiopian Airlines has inaugurated a new scheduled passenger service to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, marking another step in its regional expansion. The fourtimes-weekly overnight rotation began on June 1, and was launched with a ceremony attended by diplomats, government officials, and airline executives. Already a cargo operator to the emirate, the new passenger flights provide an additional link between Africa and the Middle East.
