DUBAI-BASED CARGO airline SolitAir has been awarded its air operator’s certificate (AOC) by the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), paving the way for it to begin operating its own flights.
The carrier started services in early December 2024, following a deal with ASL Airlines Ireland, which supplied a single Boeing 737-86NBCF, EI-HRB (c/n 32686), on wet lease. On March 6, two more wet-leased 737s supplied by ASL arrived in Dubai. The first, 73786JBCF, EI-HRF (c/n 30879) – wears a full SolitAir livery and entered service on March 12. Based on flight tracking data, the second is thought to be 73748ESF, EI-STS (c/n 25773), which has yet to enter service.
