WestJet’s Sunwing integration begins
CANADA’S WESTJET has started the integration of Sunwing Airlines’ fleet of Boeing 737s. Three of the latter’s 737 MAX 8s, C-FMXG (c/n 43619), C-FZXI (c/n 62883) and C-GMXH (c/n 62874), have now been transferred to the new owner’s fleet. The move comes after the first group of Sunwing aircraft were transferred to WestJet’s AOC in February, around two years after the deal to acquire the leisure carrier was approved.
