RUSSIAN CARRIER Aeroflot was forced to cancel more than 50 roundtrip flights on July 28 after suffering a cyberattack. The airline said that it had suffered a serious IT failure and that only 206 flights operated out of the 260 scheduled for that day. Dozens more were cancelled the following day, although the airline group said that around 93% of flights had operated as usual. Aeroflot subsidiaries Rossiya and Pobeda were also affected.
