Air France-KLM downsizes A350-1000 order
AIR FRANCE-KLM Group has revised its Airbus A350 order, switching most of its -1000 orders into the smaller -900. The group signed a deal in 2023 for 50 of the widebodied twinjets, split between both variants, with the type intended to replace older Airbus A330s and Boeing 777s. This followed Air France’s previous order for 38 A350-900s, of which it has already received 36, and four A350 freighters.
