ANA seeks to mitigate turbulence
ALL NIPPON Airways (ANA) has begun using its turbulence-prediction service, following several years of testing and validation. The airline said the model, developed using deep learning techniques and a decade of turbulence data, has an 86% accuracy rate. Development started in 2019 and trials commenced in 2021 with continuous updates improving the model’s accuracy and performance.
