Piper lands mega order
Piper Aircraft has secured one of its largest-ever fleet agreements, announcing a deal with the University of North Dakota’s John D Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences (UND Aerospace) for up to 188 training aircraft. The contract, unveiled during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh on July 22, is valued at around $155m and extends a partnership between the manufacturer and the Grand Forks-based training provider that spans nearly four decades.
