Following the closure of its Abu Dhabi subsidiary (see page 12), Wizz Air will reduce its Airbus A321XLR order down from 47 to between ten and 15 examples. The low-cost carrier has so far taken delivery of two XLRs – the first went to Wizz Air UK, while the second was placed with Wizz Air Malta.
For the first time, Air France pilots and KLM crew are jointly operating a KLM service. Between July and October, the French flag carrier will provide flight deck crew for a KLM Boeing 777-200 operating the Amsterdam/Schiphol to New York/JFK route. The collaboration is limited to a single aircraft on this specific route.
