More than three decades after Pan Am ceased operations, a Boeing 757-200 wearing the iconic “Blue Meatball” livery crossed the Atlantic. The Icelandair jet, TF-FIC (c/n 30735), had been chartered by Criterion Travel for a luxury tour dubbed Tracing the Transatlantic. The itinerary – between June 17 and 27 – departed New York/JFK and took in stops in Bermuda, Lisbon, Marseille, London and Shannon (Foynes) before returning to JFK. The aircraft is pictured here on approach to London/Stansted on June 23
