Ahmet Olmuştur, chief commercial officer at Turkish Airlines, has been with the carrier since accepting a part-time role in the call centre in 2000, aged just 20 years old. He obtained an MBA following the completion of a rotational programme at Long Island University in New York, the European Business School in London and Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci in Paris. After completing his postgraduate studies, he became a flight analyst in revenue management, later holding other positions including general distribution systems manager, revenue management and pricing manager, and senior vice-president revenue management. He has held his current role since 2014 and is responsible for the carrier’s route network planning, ticket pricing strategies, sales and marketing operations, customer experience, loyalty programme and corporate communications activities.
