Voltaire Antiquités’ display for the Parcours will include this tinglazed earthenware statuette of Pierrot , below, with grand feu decoration, from a group of four commedia dell’arte subjects. It was made c.1745-48 at the Strasbourg factory under the direction of Paul Hannong. The gallery, which is situated on the quai Voltaire and specialises in European ceramics, will be showing a selection of works ranging in price from €5000 to over €100,000.
