A clock made by one of Thomas Tompion’s closest assistants will go under the hammer at Roseberys on March 22. The 18th century ebony table clock was made by Daniel Delander (1678- 1733), after he set up his own workshop in London. The 14½in (37cm) high clock, with a five pillar eight-day fusee movement, is signed to the brass dial.
Estimate £8000-12,000.
