Graham Beech will be one of the new standholders among the 220 exhibitors at the three-day Bowman Antiques Fairs event at the Stafford County Showground from March 23-25.
Based in Shropshire, Beech has been collecting for 30 years, from “Victorian watercolours through to modern British and works by contemporary artists,” but has now turned dealer. “I have decided to spend my retirement years selling some of my collection trading as Gray Dove Fine Art. I will be bringing some 40 works of art to the fair at prices from £75 to £500; so plenty of affordable pieces.”
Listed artists included are Clifford Fishwick, Edward Wolfe, Sir Thomas Monnington, Sholto Johnson Douglas and Roy Turner Durant. Pictured below is Crag, a signed and dated (1960) watercolour by the West Country artist Clifford Fishwick (1923-97) priced at £425.
