Promoting first fiction foray in Lochgilphead

JOURNALIST and writer Neal Ascherson visited Lochgilphead last weekend to promote his latest book.

Published last month, The Death of the Fronsac is a story of divided loyalties, treachery and exile amid the tragic fate of Poland in the 20th century.

Manager at the Argyll Book Centre Eli Pickering made customers feel at home on Saturday August 26, with coffee and cake available as the author signed copies of his work.
