New year, new you?

TWO weeks into the new year, the Advertiser took to the streets of Lochgilphead to find the saints and sinners of new year resolutions - asking the dreaded question ‘are you managing to stick to your new year resolution?’ Many confessed they had decided to save themselves from disappointment this year and not make any at all, having failed to keep them in past years. But a few resolution hopefuls were to be found out and about.

Copper makes the perfect jogging companion.

KEEN fitness fanatic and The Square Peg employee, Lucy Marquis decided, after an indulgent festive season, that the start of the new year was the perfect time to get back into eating more healthily and exercising more.

With an energetic beagle to look after Lucy has been out jogging - hoping to tire playful Copper out, while sticking to her resolution. And on the rainier nights she is tackling some tough fitness DVDs. To keep herself on track Lucy has even been taking healthy snacks to work, to avoid the tasty tempting treats from The Square Peg sandwich bar.
