A RECENT unfortunate spate of badger deaths on Argyll roads is the result of a relatively mild winter.

An increase in badgers activity in Argyll, particularly in Mid Argyll, has been noticeable, with locals commenting on the number of sightings near main roads.

Increased activity of badgers means drivers must be extra vigilant.
