SNP refuses to accept result

I see from Brendan O’Hara’s letter of last week that the SNP is refusing to respect the result of the EUreferendum, despite the fact it was free, fair and gave everyone in the UK an equal vote. They have form here.

Scotland held the independence referendum in 2014 because the SNP offered it in a manifesto for the 2011 election, won a majority and duly acted on that commitment. We held the EU referendum because the Conservatives offered it in a manifesto for the 2015 election, won a majority, and duly acted on that commitment.
