TARBERT
MV Hebridean Princess dropped her anchor just outside Tarbert harbour on Sunday March 12.
Around 50 guests were ferried into Tarbert from the cruise ship for a few hours between 2pm and 5pm and were welcomed onshore by local people and businesses, providing an extra boost to the town in the shoulder part of the tourist season. The 72-metre-long former ferry, built in 1964, is often seen cruising the waters of Argyll.
