Funding to bring children’s writers to Lochgilphead

THE ARGYLL Book Centre in Lochgilphead has been offered a grant from an award-winning author.

The James Patter-son Independent Bookshop Fund granted the book shop £900 to repaint the children’s book area and cover the costs of author and storytelling events.

Funding will allow events, like Mairi Hedderwick’s recent visit, to continue.
