A COUNCIL committee has heard that 97 per cent of planning applications were approved between July and September this year.
As part of a briefing on Argyll and Bute Council’s planning service, it was reported to the performance review and scrutiny committee that the time taken to process planning applications is ahead of the Scottish average.Approvals over this period included an application for a new whisky distillery and visitor centre on Islay.
