IT IS NOT every day you see a Glasgow double-decker bus on the streets of Lochgilphead.
In a scene - if we ignore the Argyll rain - reminiscent of the famous 1963 film ‘Summer Holiday’ featuring Cliff Richard and the Shadows, the bus was temporary home to a group of bus enthusiasts all the way from London. But rather than choosing the south of France and Greece as destinations like Cliff and his chums, this party was bound for the west coast of Scotland.
Owners Ray Ritmeester and Steve Fennell with their 1961 Routemaster - home for an 11-day tour of the west of Scotland.
