The dedicated volunteers who provide an audio version of The Banner have moved into the digital age with their recordings now being made on a computer and distributed by USB drives.
The volunteers of Arran Sound enjoy a coffee and a chat.
The group of 17 regular readers of Arran Sound meet twice a year for a coffee and a chat and to arrange the reading schedule for the coming year. The volunteers take it in turns to record The Banner each week and make it available to the visually impaired and others who may have difficulty in reading a newspaper.
