Changes needed at new waste centre

Arran’s new household waste recycling centre has come under fire for not being user-friendly. The North Ayrshire Councilrun facility in Brodick reopened last month after a major facelift and now offers a much wider range of recycling.

But users are angry that they have to drag most of their waste up a flight of stairs before a four-foot lift to dump it in the skips.
