The British Legion branch at the Crinan Canal.
The Arran branch of the Royal British Legion held its summer outing last month.
Up to 14 members of the reformed group have been meeting for around nine months now and, in addition to their regular Wednesday meetings, the branch have been on several trips. The latest one, in July, was a day out to the Crinan Canal via the Claonaig ferry. A pleasant drive through Knapdale was followed with lunch and a sail on the Vic 32 puffer. The weather could not have been better, completing a lovely day.
