No common sense

While I commend North Ayrshire Council on provision of new public waste disposal facilities in Brodick, now the hedge-cutting season is in full swing, the crass design of the bins has become apparent.

Previously cars and trailers were able to be unloaded at ground level. Now it is expected that we are able to lift loads up four metal steps, raise full and heavy bags to a height of four feet, reach out a further three feet, and then shake the bag to empty. Perfect for skeletal or muscular injuries. NAC take note.
