Two Arran police officers have been taken off frontline duties while a probe is held into a complaint. Officers from the mainland have been drafted in to provide cover.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: ‘We can confirm that a complaint has been received regarding two Police Scotland officers, and we are currently carrying out inquiries into this matter.
‘At this time the officers are not suspended, however they are not carrying out frontline duties.’
