Artists wanted at Brodick Castle

Bosses at Brodick Castle are planning to create a range of local products for sale in the new retail areas when the castle reopens next spring.

In a bid to start this process, the National Trust for Scotland is planning to hold consultation meetings on Wednesday August 29 with the island’s artists and crafts men and women to look at the feasibility of creating a range of bespoke products reflecting the rich heritage of the island, the castle and its estate.

The castle is looking to hear from anyone who is interested in being involved in the project. In the first instance please contact Ashley Connolly at aconnolly@nts.org.uk or brodickcastle@nts.org.uk
