Roadworks planned for Brodick Hill

Drivers face delays next week during the latest roadworks around the island.

All roads will remain open when surface dressing takes place on the Brodick Hill section of the A841, on the C147 at Kildonnan and Main Street, Pirnmill. Work on the A841 starts on Monday August 15 and will see traffic lights and a convoy system in place, with work expected to be finished on Wednesday August 17.

The upgrades planned for Kildonnan on August 17-18 and Pirnmill on August 18-19 will require motorists to wait - known as a short-stop closure - for a short time during an off-peak period to let essential work be completed.
