The 33rd annual Lamlash Open attracted a large turnout of more than 113 entrants who took part in the open competition held last weekend. On Saturday golfing began at 8am with the last game scheduled for 5pm to accommodate a well-know visitor who was arriving on the 3.20pm ferry.
Holding the Lamlash Open trophy and the Lamlash Bay Hotel local golf champion trophy is the winner Allan Colquhoun with son and caddie Angus.
The weekend weather was mostly enjoyed by all apart from the late starters who experienced the worst conditions on both days. Wind Saturday, rain Sunday.
