Troon makes bid to ‘poach’ Arran ferry

Transport minister Humza Yousaf discusses bold attempt during recent visit to Arran

A determined bid is being made by Troon to ‘poach’ the ferry service linking Brodick to the mainland.

Associated British Ports (ABP), owner and operator of the Port of Troon, is offering to invest £8 million to create a state-of-theart passenger ferry terminal and a new pier to serve Arran. The modern facility would only be built if Troon secured the ferry service linking Brodick with the mainland.
