Arran Pipe Band and Arran Highland dance club held a performance outside the Brodick Co-op last weekend to thank the store for grants from the local community fund, writes Colin Smeeton.

Beneficiaries of the fund, collected over the previous six months, were the pipe band, which received £7,057, the Hospital Supporters League, which received £7,691, and the Highland dancers who received £6,806 from a total of £21,554 raised by the Brodick branch for local groups.
