Unleash your creativity from the biscuit tin

Biscuit tins filled with art supplies have been distributed as part of the Arran Open Studios event.

Budding artists are invited to delve into the biscuit tin as part of an Arran Open Studios (AOS) initiative encouraging people to unleash their creativity.

The launch of the Biscuit Tin Initiative, supported by Paterson Arran, has seen the distribution of biscuit tins filled with art materials in cafés and hotels and various other establishments across the island. Organisers of the Open Studios are inviting visitors who have a spare moment, and the inclination, to pen a poem, make a drawing, share a meditation using the materials supplied in the biscuit tin. Pencils, erasers, pens and blank postcards are all provided within the tin, and everyone of all ages and abilities is invited to take part.
