Santa, having made some headway with his elves in creating and wrapping Christmas gifts, has been spotted touring Arran villages ahead of the big day.
At the Isle Be Wild play park at Brodick Castle and Country Park, National Trust for Scotland staff created an all-natural grotto where Santa met excited children. Festive mince pies and treats were available at the cafe where children lined up to meet Santa after enjoying an adventurous afternoon in the play park.
At Corrie and Sannox village hall children were treated to a ball pit and bouncy castle along with gingerbread men decorating and a host of activities provided by organisers Shona Catriona Dunsmuir and Marie-Louise Craig, who also had lots of tasty treats and snacks for the children.
