Students get dug in at horticultural course

Arran’s horticultural rural skills course has started and already students are rolling up their sleeves and preparing flower and vegetable beds ready for the coming season at the Community Land Initiative in Whiting Bay. Cold but dry weather has enabled students to learn soil management techniques, stretch their muscles digging and drink plenty of tea around the fire.

Argyll College students get their hands dirty in the flowerbeds.
