Lottery funding boost for Glen Estate residents

Elderly residents on the island are to benefit from a major funding boost for a tenants’ association.

Glen Estate Tenants’ Association in Brodick has been awarded £10,000 by the National Lottery Awards for All to carry out a programme of courses and entertainment aimed primarily at older members of the community.

The funding boost will be used for a series of events for a year-long programme of ‘laughter and learning’ at Glen Estate sheltered housing.
