Arnhall fire

Arnhall in Whiting Bay has been extensively damaged after fire broke out in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Fire engines from Lamlash and Brodick were called in and it was some hours before the fire was extinguished.

Arnhall has been owned by the Save the Children Fund for a number of years, offering activity holidays for disadvantaged children. At the end of 1995, its future became uncertain and in September this year the group Enable leased Arnhall to continue similar work.
