A cyclist who suffered multiple injuries in a coastal crash was rescued by the Arran RNLI lifeboat crew.
In their fourth call-out of the week, the in-shore lifeboat Rachel Hedderwick launched at 10.25am on Tuesday July 25 towards the Cock of Arran where, near Laggan Cottage on the north east coast of Arran, a cyclist was reported with serious injuries.
On arrival the casualty was stretchered and taken by the lifeboat to the Lochranza pontoon with a suspected broken ankle and dislocated elbow along with shoulder injuries.
