The company bidding to take the Arran ferry to Troon has made a proposal to to donate around £50,000 each year to good causes on Arran if the island’s lifeline ferry service relocates to its Port of Troon, the Banner can reveal.
Associated British Ports (ABP) has included plans to create a new Arran Community Fund in its ferry bid to the Scottish Goverment which it says would benefit the local community to around £1,000 a week.
