AYF continues tradition set by Lady Jean Fforde

Arran Youth Foundations (AYF), who raised £911.30 at their annual fundraiser at Strabane House on Saturday, have thanked the Fforde family for continuing to support their charity which was a cause held dear by the late Lady Jean Fforde.

Taking place in the beautifully manicured gardens at Strabane House since 2012, Lady Jean had allowed the group the use of her gardens for fundraising and championed the work being undertaken by the youth charity.

In a continuation of the support provided by Lady Jean, her son Charles Fforde and wife, Lynn, gave permission for the tradition to continue and invited AYF to, once again, host its event at Strabane House.
