Summer sessions are being held on the community land this summer in Whiting Bay where everyone is invited to join in on the fun, learn something new and to see the latest developments in the area.
As part of the initiative to utilise and transform 80 acres of disused farmland into a wildlife-friendly allotment area and orchard, as well as creating a wide range of recreational and educational resources on the land, the initiative will be hosting a series of sessions for people to make use of and enjoy the land.
Starting on Tuesday July 12, between 11am and 1pm during the school holidays, children and their parents can enjoy the outdoors with a host of creative activities in the growing area.
