Two ferries have been brought into service on the Brodick to Ardrossan ferry route while the MV Caledonian Isles undergoes her annual refit.
Because of their smaller size, the ferries are running eight sailings each way on most days, instead of the usual five.
Since later on Tuesday, the MV Hebridean Isles has been covering the route with the MV Isle of Arran as back up.
