More than 50 loony dookers braved the icy waters of Brodick Bay on New Year’s Day for the now traditional Douglas Dook.
Being held for the sixth time, the dook attracts locals and visitors, some of whom have taken part ev ery year. The waters were choppy this year but, while cold, the day was bright and sunny as the dookers headed to the slipway from the Douglas Hotel, led by a Chinese dragon.
