Institute news

Corrie and Sannox SWI finished a very successful year with a fun afternoon where a bring and buy was held to raise funds for the institute.

An AGM was also held where thanks were expressed to retiring president, Morag, and her committee and to Louise for helping with the election. Plans were discussed for the show in August and suggestions were made for next year’s syllabus.

The committee for 2016/17 is as follows: president, Marion Melvin; secretary, Anne Pringle; treasurer, Vicki Milne; press secretary, Elma Stevenson; federation representatives, Mairi Turnbull and Liz Mc-Culloch and committee member Fiona Doubleday to whom all members wish a speedy return to good health.
