WITH a windproof and water-resistant front, shoulder and arm sections, this long-leeve shirt offers enough protection on its own to keep you functioning in hill-top downpours. In the depths of winter, add a base layer and you’ll be good to go. Thumbholes in the sleeve ends provide added warmth to the hands but, thanks to the breathable nature of the fabric and front zipper, we were able to regulate temperature perfectly. A small, rear zip pocket is useful, as are the reflective details that add to the visibility.
