LEANNACH FOREST
A WONDERFUL, peaceful run on firm, waymarked trails through tranquil forest in the glorious Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Follow red waymarkers throughout; enjoy the run and the simple pleasure of running through trees and enjoying fantastic glimpses of mountains and lochs without having to worry about navigation. Gentle climbs reward you with great views of the beautiful Trossachs, including the fine peaks of Ben A’an and Ben Venue. From the car park, follow the signed track towards the forest, heading directly towards Ben Venue and crossing bridge. Bear right at Ben Venue sign, re-cross stream and continue to follow red waymarkers uphill to rejoin outward track back to car park.
