YOU DON’T LIKE EVERYTHING I LIKE? THAT’S A DEALBREAKER
News just in: nobody wants to date you if you stink and can’t do sex. This shocking revelation comes courtesy of six studies published together in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, which analysed people’s biggest relationship turnoffs. Apparently the findings show that we typically put more weight behind dealbreakers than dealmakers – so even if you have the face of Zayn Malik, if you have the personality of Louis Tomlinson then you can forget about it. (Quite right, too)
According to the research, the biggest relationship dealbreakers include the fore-mentioned unclean appearance and bad sex, along with laziness, lacking a sense of humour, and being stubborn. As far as I’m concerned these are just the tip of the iceberg. Allow me to present my own personal dealbreakers, in case you ever want to ask me out (Anyone?)
