CHELSEA LAUREN/REX/SHUTTERSTOCK
Ahh, Miley — what a rollercoaster ride it’s been for this LA resident. Born to country music star Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley spent almost the majority of her teenage years as Hannah Montana in Disney Channel’s smash musical comedy series. In recent years, though, she’s shed her butter-wouldn’t-melt image and become a musical icon in the process, with her first album, Bangerz, spawning hit singles We Can’t Stop and Wrecking Ball — plus that performance with Robin Thicke at the 2013 VMAs. She also identifies as gender-fluid and pansexual, and set up the Happy Hippie Foundation in 2014 to combat injustices affecting homeless and LGBT+ youth in Los Angeles and beyond. Keep an eye out in DTLA for Miley and her on-off fiancé, Liam Hemsworth.
