All About Space Bookazine  |  All About Space Annual (2023) Volume 10
The past couple of years saw space exploration slow down a bit for obvious reasons, but it came back with a (big) bang in 2022. The James Webb Space Telescope showed us distant wonders of the universe in more detail than ever before, it looks like DART proved its asteroid-deflecting hypothesis (although all the data is still to come in over the next couple of years), and at the time of going to press, Artemis 1 was gearing up for its delayed launch. If the first unmanned mission in NASA’s new moonshot program goes to plan, then we could see astronauts walk on the lunar surface again by 2025. You’ll find all of these missions and more in this year’s All About Space Annual, plus the latest deep space discoveries and space science research that are pushing our understanding of the cosmos further than ever before.
